Bring JDE's Brands to Life In-Store Across Sweden

JDE is one of the world's leading coffee and tea companies, home to iconic brands including Gevalia, L'OR, Jacobs, Tassimo, Senseo and Espresso House Coffee. As JDE continues to strengthen its commercial organisation across the Nordics, we are looking for an Retail Activation Manager to join the Swedish Customer & Shopper team in Stockholm. 

This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in driving retail activation, shopper engagement, and execution excellence across the Swedish market. Working with some of the category's most recognised brands, you will help shape how shoppers experience our products in-store while contributing directly to commercial growth and category performance. 

The Opportunity

As Retail Activation Manager, you will be at the forefront of how JDE's iconic brands are experienced by shoppers across Sweden. Working across Category Management, Sales, Marketing and Field Sales, you will ensure commercial strategies are translated into impactful in-store activations that drive visibility, engagement and growth. 
You will take ownership of trade marketing and activation initiatives across channels and customers, helping to deliver best-in-class retail execution and maximise the performance of JDE's portfolio in-store. Combining shopper insights, commercial understanding and operational excellence, you will identify opportunities to strengthen category performance, optimise shelf presence and deliver measurable business results. 

This role offers significant exposure across the commercial organisation and the opportunity to work closely with a broad range of stakeholders in Sweden and across the Nordic region. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement customer- and channel-specific activation strategies that support commercial objectives and business priorities. 
  • Drive best-in-class in-store execution, ensuring optimal shelf presence, product visibility, planograms and point-of-sale materials across key retail customers. 
  • Collaborate with Key Account Managers and Field Sales teams to deliver high-impact commercial activations and category growth initiatives.
  • Lead space management and shelf optimisation projects, using data and shopper insights to improve assortment performance and in-store productivity. 
  • Analyse the effectiveness and ROI of trade marketing and activation activities, providing recommendations that drive continuous improvement and stronger business outcomes. 
  • Develop activation guidelines, tools and ways of working that strengthen executional excellence and support consistent delivery across the Swedish market. 
  • Work cross-functionally with Marketing, Category Management, Sales and external retail partners to identify new opportunities for growth and strengthen shopper engagement. 

Who Are You?

You are a commercially minded and proactive trade marketing professional who combines strong analytical capabilities with a passion for retail execution. You enjoy working cross-functionally, building relationships with stakeholders and translating insights into practical initiatives that drive tangible results


You are likely to bring:

  • Minimum 2-3 years’ experience within Trade Marketing, Shopper Marketing, Category Management, Space Management or a related commercial function.
  • Hands-on experience with planograms, shelf optimisation and delivering execution excellence within retail environments. 
  • A strong understanding of the Swedish grocery retail landscape and how shoppers make purchasing decisions in-store. 
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, develop recommendations and communicate insights effectively to different stakeholders. 
  • Experience collaborating closely with Sales, Marketing and retailer partners in a fast-paced FMCG or consumer goods environment. 
  • Fluency in both Swedish and English.
