The Role

Premier Modular is seeking a commercially driven Sales Manager to play a key role in expanding its presence across the Netherlands and wider European market. This is fundamentally a new business development role rather than a traditional account management position. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying opportunities, developing relationships with strategic customers, creating a pipeline from the ground up and converting prospects into long-term commercial partnerships. Working closely with the European leadership team, you will help establish Premier Modular as a recognised partner for leading infrastructure, industrial and construction organisations requiring premium-quality modular accommodation, welfare facilities, office space and site infrastructure. This is a rare opportunity to join a business at a pivotal stage of growth and become one of the key drivers of its European success story.

Key Responsibilities

  • Refine and execute the strategic business development plan for the Netherlands market.
  • Identify, engage and secure new customers across infrastructure, industrial, engineering and construction sectors.
  • Create and manage a pipeline of qualified opportunities through proactive market development activity.
  • Build trusted relationships with senior decision-makers, project teams and technical stakeholders.
  • Lead consultative sales processes involving multiple stakeholders and long project lifecycles.
  • Understand customer requirements and work with internal technical design teams to develop tailored solutions.
  • Manage opportunities from initial prospecting through to contract award.
  • Represent Premier Modular at customer meetings, industry events and networking opportunities.
  • Collaborate closely with the wider European and UK teams to ensure successful project delivery and customer satisfaction.

Candidate Profile

Essential Experience

  • Proven success in new business development within a technical B2B environment.
  • Experience selling complex solutions rather than commodity products.
  • Experience selling differentiated, premium solutions or services
  • Track record of creating opportunities and winning new business in greenfield or developing markets.
  • Experience managing long sales cycles involving multiple decision-makers.
  • Ability to engage confidently with both commercial and technical stakeholders.
  • Experience operating in sectors such as:
    • Industrial equipment
    • Premium equipment rental
    • Engineering services
    • Technical packaging and pooling services
    • Technical project-based environments
    • Construction solutions
    • Infrastructure solutions

You do not need modular construction experience.
However, you must be able to:
  • Understand technical customer requirements.
  • Operate effectively in engineering-led environments.
  • Learn technical specifications quickly.
  • Hold credible discussions with engineers, project teams and procurement stakeholders.
  • Translate complex customer requirements into commercial opportunities.
Language
  • Fluent Dutch and English are essential.
Location & Travel
  • Based in the Netherlands.
  • Regular travel throughout the Netherlands and wider European market as required.
  • Occasional travel to the UK for meetings, training and leadership engagement.
