The business:

Kramp is a leading distributor of agricultural spare parts and technical solutions, operating a non-manufacturing buy, store and sell model across wholesale and retail channels. The Kramp organisation is characterised by increasing supply chain maturity and a strong operational backbone:

  • Network of ~10–11 warehouses across the region serving customers throughout Europe
  • Unified ERP landscape and standardised ways of working
  • 5 regions of which DACH is one with a local warehouse based in Strullendorf, Germany
  • Supply Chain Organisation has transitioned from a functional model to a stakeholder- and category-driven approach
  • Customer access to wide assortment with speed and high availability is key

The role:

The Supply Chain Manager – Tractor & Vehicle (T&V) holds full end-to-end responsibility for planning and execution within the category, with a strong focus on availability, reliability and efficiency. Key accountabilities include:

  • End-to-end ownership of demand and supply planning, S&OP and S&OE for T&V category across Europe
  • Delivery of industry-leading product availability while maintaining healthy inventory levels and cost efficiency
  • Single-point-of-contact accountability across categories for supply chain performance in DACH cluster
  • Leadership of a multi-country team:
    • 9 Supply Chain Specialists
    • 2 Supply Chain Planners
  • Remote leadership with a strong focus on:
    • Clear objective setting
    • Accountability for delivery and outcomes
    • Engagement and performance management
  • Close cross-functional collaboration with:
    • Category Management and Buying teams
    • Country leadership (Managing Directors, Assortment Managers, Sales, Finance)
    • Operations and Warehouse Directors
  • Ownership of at least one Group level strategic change initiative (e.g. supplier collaboration, inventory optimisation, S&OP improvements)
  • Role based in Strullendorf, Germany, with a minimum of two days onsite and the remainder hybrid

The requirements:

This role requires a pragmatic, proactive leader who combines strong execution skills with the ability to influence across a complex stakeholder landscape. The ideal candidate brings:

  • 5+ years of experience in supply chain / planning (including S&OP) roles with a track record of achieving objectives and being outcome orientated
  • 3+ years of people leadership experience, including remote teams
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering or a related field (preferred)
  • Strong capability to balance:
    • Commercial priorities
    • Operational and warehousing constraints
    • Supplier capabilities
  • Results-driven mindset with a clear focus on KPIs, including:
    • Product availability and OTIF
    • Inventory levels and health
    • Supplier performance
    • Cost efficiency
    • Customer satisfaction
