Our client is an international consumer goods company with a portfolio of established brands and a strong presence across multiple markets. To support continued growth and digital transformation, the business is seeking an experienced Growth Marketing Manager to lead its paid media strategy across Europe.
Scope of the Position
You are responsible for developing and executing the European performance marketing strategy across key digital channels, including Paid Social, Display, Amazon Advertising, Retail Media, and other e-commerce advertising platforms. You ensure media investments are aligned with business objectives, balancing short-term revenue growth with long-term brand development. You manage media planning, budget allocation, campaign execution, optimisation, reporting, and performance measurement across multiple markets. Working closely with Marketing, E-commerce, Sales, Product Management, agency partners, and technology providers, you drive integrated media plans that improve customer acquisition, increase efficiency, and maximise return on investment. You lead the Amazon Advertising and Retail Media agenda, oversee testing and audience development strategies, and leverage data, analytics, AI-powered tools, automation, and emerging technologies to continuously improve marketing effectiveness.
Ideal Candidate Profile
The preferred candidate holds a Bachelor's or Master's degree in (Online) Marketing, Economics, Statistics, Business Administration, or a related discipline and brings at least 10 years of experience in digital and performance marketing, gained either in-house or within a media, digital, or advertising agency environment. You have deep expertise across major performance marketing platforms, including Google, Meta, TikTok, Amazon Advertising, Retail Media networks, and other relevant digital ecosystems. You possess strong knowledge of marketing technologies, AI-enabled analytics, automation solutions, predictive modelling, and data-driven decision-making frameworks, with a proven ability to translate performance metrics into meaningful business outcomes. You bring a minimum of 5 years of people leadership experience, successfully managing teams and cross-functional initiatives within complex organisations. You are commercially minded, highly analytical, and experienced in stakeholder management, reporting, process optimisation, and integrated marketing planning. Experience within B2C, consumer goods, retail, e-commerce, and direct-to-consumer environments would be highly advantageous. Familiarity with agile ways of working, sprint-based delivery models, or Scrum methodologies is beneficial, while previous experience within a digital agency environment and additional European language skills, particularly German or French, are considered strong assets.
