Key Account Manager Retail

As Key Account Manager Retail, you will take ownership of one of Oatly’s most important markets, managing key retail relationships and driving commercial performance. This is a high-impact role, responsible for a significant share of the Finnish business in a market where Oatly is well-established and has historically been a category leader.
You will act as the spokesperson for Oatly in the Finnish retail market, ensuring strong brand visibility and long-term partnerships. The role combines strategic thinking with hands-on execution and requires a self-driven individual who can operate autonomously while collaborating closely with Nordic and local stakeholders.
Key Areas of Responsibility:
- Develop and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with key retail partners in Finland
- Act as the main spokesperson for Oatly in the Finnish retail market
- Drive long-term joint business growth and ensure Oatly remains a preferred partner
- Lead annual negotiations and joint business planning, including assortment and category strategies
- Build and execute ambitious commercial plans for key customers
- Own and deliver commercial performance across volume, profitability, and customer P&L
- Drive execution across category management, product launches, and promotional activities, supported by data-driven insights
- Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, supply chain, finance, and other key stakeholders
Ideal Experience and Competencies
- 5–7 years of experience in Key Account Management within FMCG
- Proven experience managing major Finnish retail accounts and driving growth
- Strong commercial acumen, including ownership of P&L
- Solid understanding of category management and retail dynamics
- Experienced negotiator with a structured and results-oriented approach
- Fluent in Finnish and English (written and spoken)
- Strong analytical capabilities and experience working with sales and performance data
You are a self-driven and commercially minded individual who thrives on accountability and delivering results. You are comfortable working independently while building strong internal and external relationships. You bring energy, curiosity, and a pragmatic mindset, along with a genuine interest in contributing to a more sustainable food system.

The position is based in Helsinki with a flexible hybrid setup and regular travel within Finland. You will report to the GM and work cross-functionally with sales, marketing, supply chain, finance, and category teams.
