Marketing Operations Manager - Norway & Denmark
We are recruiting two Marketing Operations Managers on behalf of an international FMCG company with ambitious growth plans across the Nordic region. We are looking for one Marketing Operations Manager in Oslo, Norway and one in Copenhagen, Denmark to drive local brand growth, consumer engagement, and commercial performance.
This is a hands-on role for an entrepreneurial marketer who enjoys turning strategy into action. Working closely with regional marketing teams, commercial colleagues, customers, and agency partners, you will lead local marketing initiatives that strengthen brand awareness, drive consumer engagement, and support long-term growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and deliver the local marketing plan, translating regional strategy and commercial priorities into relevant market activities that build brand awareness, drive consumer engagement, and support business growth.
- Lead the execution of consumer-facing marketing initiatives across digital, social, partnerships, events, sampling, experiential marketing, and retail activations, ensuring consistent and impactful brand experiences across all touchpoints.
- Work closely with commercial teams, customers, agencies, and external partners to maximise market visibility, strengthen execution in-store and across key channels, and ensure marketing activity delivers measurable commercial results.
- Use consumer insights, market data, and campaign performance to continuously optimise plans, identify growth opportunities, and make informed decisions about future marketing investments.
- Act as the local brand champion, building strong relationships internally and externally while ensuring marketing plans, budgets, and activation programmes are delivered effectively and generate measurable business impact.
About you
- Minimum of five years’ experience within marketing, ideally within FMCG, food, beverages, consumer goods, lifestyle, wellness, or sports-related brands.
- You have a proven track record of driving brand growth through a combination of strategic thinking and hands-on execution.
- You are experienced in developing and delivering integrated marketing campaigns across both digital and physical channels.
- You understand how marketing contributes to commercial success and are comfortable working closely with sales teams and retail partners.
- You are highly organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- You thrive in entrepreneurial settings where initiative, ownership, and adaptability are valued.
- You are a strong communicator and relationship builder who enjoys working collaboratively across functions and markets.
