On behalf of our client, a small privately owned FMCG company, we are hiring a CEO to lead the company’s next phase of development.
The company has built a strong position in its core markets through a differentiated premium product positioning and a clear value-driven approach to sourcing and operations. The organisation is well‑run and profitable with a strong foundation in place. The next phase requires a CEO, who can develop commercial structure targeting international growth, while maintaining the company’s democratic and entrepreneurial culture.
The role
As CEO you will have full responsibility for the business and have a clear mandate from the owners to set the commercial direction.
You will also be responsible for strengthening the organisation and lead an international expansion in a disciplined and value‑creating manner. This role requires both strategic judgement and the ability to execute plans.
Key responsibilities
- Full P&L responsibility
- Define and execute the commercial growth strategy, including international market expansion
- Develop the organisation and leadership team to support the new growth ambitions
- Strengthen customer relationships and strategic partnerships
- Ensure brand positioning and go‑to‑market activities that support long‑term growth
- Oversee financial planning, performance management and reporting
- Represent the company externally with key stakeholders
Your background and professional experience
- Experience from a C-suite commercial role in larger, international consumer businesses or CEO experience from a scale-up business.
- Bring experience scaling brands and organisations across markets
- Can combine strong commercial leadership with financial discipline
- Have worked with privately owned companies or is motivated to do so
- Understand the full value chain and/or has worked close to production
- Motivated by taking full accountability in a small and agile company, where a hands-on and pragmatic behaviour is needed.
- Motivational leader with ambitions to take the team and its customers to the next phases of success.
