Due to the continued growth of the business Challs are now looking to strengthen the core marketing team and appoint a Head of Marketing to provide leadership and strategic direction across all global markets to take the business to the next level. The Head of Marketing will report to the Managing Director and has significant growth potential, including a Board position. This person will lead an experienced marketing team in the UK and will also work closely with the international team and partners around the world to define and execute tailored marketing strategies.
The new Head of Marketing for Challs International will be able to demonstrate a deep understanding of brands and brand marketing and will have a proven track record in Fast Moving Consumer Goods. The successful candidate will be immersed in every aspect of managing the marketing resource from financial control through to R&D. This means working closely with all departments including Finance, Production, Technical and Sales as well as leading the relationship with design and marketing agencies. As one of the senior leaders within the business, the Head of Marketing will also share responsibility for the governance and strategic direction of the Group.

We would anticipate that the successful candidate will have the following relevant experience and qualifications:
• Relevant degree and ideally MBA
• Proven track record in building brands
• Significant experience in FMCG, including working with the major multiples and ecommerce
• Proven leadership and working as a team player
• People management and development experience
• Ability to create a vision, develop and implement a strategic plan
• Strong commercial acumen and financial awareness
