Calix is currently working with a number of universities, research institutes, governments and industry partners across R&D projects globally.
The Project Planner will work closely with the engineering and project delivery teams, providing project planning support, developing engineering, procurement, and construction schedules, using Microsoft Project. This also includes forecasting project cost and expenditure within Microsoft Project, both personnel, capital and operational costs, and monitoring spend and resource utilisation against planned.
You will support the development of project controls procedures and tools, working collaboratively with the team and delivering work to the highest standard. The role reports to Engineering Lead of the region and can be based in the UK or France.
Key tasks & Responsibilities:
The right candidate has a degree in project management, construction or engineering with +3 years’ experience in a project planning role. This person has worked in an environment that requires the ability to deliver against multiple projects. They have experience from scheduling both programmes of work and construction projects. They are able to work confidently on their own initiative as well as a part of a team, and has a strong work ethic.
