Nigel Wright are delighted to be working in partnership with Venator, a leading chemical company focused on the development and manufacture of titanium dioxide pigments and performance additives. 

Venators products are used as intelligent ingredients in thousands of everyday items including coatings, plastics, cosmetics, paper, pharmaceuticals, fibres, films, inks, catalysts, concrete, building materials and in water purification.
 

Duties and Responsibilities

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Financial Accountant to manage the statutory & fiscal reporting for manufacturing sites and legal entities in France. 

Your responsibilities within the French team will include:-

• Preparation of monthly financial accounts for legal entities (under US GAAP)
• Production of annual financial statements (local GAAP)
• Monthly/annual tax compliance management
• Ensuring all processes meet French taxation requirements
• Participation in external audit activities

In this role, you will gain exposure to SEC filing, restructuring, accounting standards, commercial transactions, tax accounting, compliance, management of a full set of accounts, liaison with multiple stakeholders and direct & in-direct tax. Therefore, offering you a fantastic opportunity to really strengthen your portfolio of experience.

You will be/have

You will have the following:-

1. A UK qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA – qualified or part qualified), along with financial or management accounting experience.
2. IFRS or GAAP experience
3. Knowledge of VAT and Tax.
