An exciting opportunity has arisen for you to join this team as Key Account Manager to execute the strategic objectives and deliver on the ambitious targets and driving the new business agenda in the major retailers across the DIY and High Street channels in the UK and across all retail channels in the Republic of Ireland.
 

Key responsibilities

  • Over-deliver against customer commercial targets while respecting budget and strategic guidelines.
  • Develop ambitious Joint Business Plans with key accounts to exceed business growth targets, and see through to delivery.
  • Establish and maintain strong, influential and sustainable relationships with key customers.
  • Acquiring new key accounts business.
  • Become an ‘expert’ of the customers and category.
  • Exceed expectations and make things happen. Work closely with internal stakeholders to provide market-leading solutions to our customers.
  • Produce & update rolling forecasts by account.
  • Work alongside Category Management to deliver against ‘shelf excellence’ targets and maximise breadth & depth of distribution.
  • Evaluate promotional activity to ensure ROI and achievement of financial/strategic objectives.

Your profile

  • Demonstrable success in Key Account Management roles within FMCG
  • Proven track record in achieving success in negotiations with key accounts
  • Conversant with the principles of brand marketing, category management, & supply chain management
  • A strategic thinker with strengths in analysis, planning and forecasting
  • High level of emotional intelligence
  • P&L management experience
  • Excellent communication skills (oral and written) & presentation skills
  • Fully conversant with MS Office
