Reporting to the Senior Engineering Manager, the Maintenance Manager will play a key part in their ongoing drive to become a world class manufacturing facility, to embed true TPM and effectively use data to provide a world class maintenance service. With a focus on plant and equipment reliability improvement, you will look to challenge processes to drive performance and raise expectations throughout your team. Working closely with your supervisors, you will lead, manage, coach and develop your teams to reach their full potential whilst enabling them to use their knowledge to drive productivity. Championing maintenance throughout the business, you will look to collaborate effectively with production to support the continued development to improve reliability and availability.
Some of your duties & responsibilities will include:
With a minimum HNC/HND in Engineering (BEng Mechanical Engineering would be an advantage), you will have extensive experience in the development and execution of an effective maintenance strategy and plan to maximise productivity in a complex batch manufacturing plant. You will have previous experience in employing modern predictive and RBI techniques, as well as supporting and developing your team as part of a continued focus to embed TPM throughout a site. With well developed communication skills, you will have the ability to give confidence to the site Senior Management Team but also be hands on in the plant to work with your teams and production to support the continuous improvement focus at all levels.
