The Role

Reporting to the Professional Business Manager the role is part of a growing new business unit within the company

  • Working in the Husqvarna Forest and Garden Division UK focussing on automower pro equipment targeting stakeholders who own/manage various greenspace (Groundcare) eg. Golf courses, public common areas, sport pitches, public attractions, landscapers
  • Automower Pro is a key growth area for the business which is set to accelerate, and market data suggests that within 3yrs the use of autonomous turfcare will be common within the groundcare industry  
  • An opportunity for a KAM to join a growing team (currently 6 heads) responsible for generating leads and new business in the geographical area
  • Acting as a point of contact between Pro customers and dealers, this is the opportunity for the KAM to offer a solution based service to new and existing Pro accounts and influence customers that Husqvarna is the best choice for them for autonomous turf care solution  
  • There is huge potential within the area to increase revenue and bring on new Pro customers/accounts with the territory expected to be able to generate in excess of £2m
  • Manage the existing ‘Key pro account’s' 
  • Role will work with marketing and CRM database to drive new business
  • 80% of time will be spent engaging with target Pro customers, 20% with dealer network

The Person



•             Sales background with experience of a solution based selling approach (B2B experience is an extra benefit)
•             Creative thinker and problem solver
•             Looking to develop their career further within the company
•             Familiar with CRM management, comfortable following up leads and opportunities
•             Pro-active approach to generating leads and winning new business with the ability to influence
•             Able to build rapport and understand customer needs
•             Background in DIY/garden machinery or related consumer goods would be beneficial
