Wave Direct is a young, fast-growing leisure brand that has taken the UK hot tub and stand-up paddle board industries by storm. We have seen rapid growth in recent years, and recently secured significant investment that means we are looking to level up our team as we expand into the US And Europe.
We’re based in the heart of Newcastle City Centre within easy reach of various transport links. This role can be home-based up to 2 days per week.
The right candidate will be responsible for the development, strategy, and execution of all brand communications. This is a broad role that will allow development and will cover a variety of marketing areas, so would suit a self-starting individual, with an entrepreneurial mindset who is eager to make a splash. You will be joining our team at an exciting time of growth, where our digital marketing strategy will play a key role in growing brand awareness and engagement in key markets as we look to expand our portfolio.
To succeed in this role, you’ll need to be a hands-on marketer with a drive for continuous improvement, be a fantastic content writer with experience across the full marketing mix, adapting your style to suit a range of customers profiles and markets, have excellent organisation skills, and an analytical mind that uses available data to make decisions.
Advance knowledge and experience in using social media and content generation is a must as this is the heart of the role.
You will work with the Marketing & Ecommerce Director to drive the business forward by implementing and developing various marketing strategies to drive traffic to the platforms and raise brand awareness in our markets. Having developed an understanding of our customer base, you will manage our online campaigns across owned channels and paid media, including email, PR, social, and other channels, with agency support.
The digital marketing key objective is to deliver first-class social media campaigns across organic and paid social. You'll write content as well as publishing social media advertising and monitoring the campaign's successes with a focus on continuous improvement. A big part of this role is also influencer outreach as we look to grow our digital reach.
