The Role

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and committed Head of ICT to lead the strategic  direction and management of Nexus’ Information and Communications Technology (ICT) strategy to effectively support the organisation to achieve business goals and their Vision 2025

Reporting to the Finance Director and working closely with the existing Head of ICT Projects, the new appointee will be a key member of the leadership team and play a significant part in delivering complex technology change programmes.

Candidate Requirements

Candidates will be experienced technology leaders and comfortable working autonomously as well as part of the senior leadership team and wider business leadership group.

It is highly likely that the successful candidate will  

  • have great communication skills and able to communicate effectively with non-technical senior managers and peers
  • be able to evidence that they have developed an ICT strategy within a similar sized organisation
  • be commercially aware and business focussed
  • have a strong understanding of project management techniques and able to adapt to fit with business needs
They will be able to demonstrate experience in delivering successful business transformation and comfortable delivering complex technological change (from design through planning and introduction to integration of systems). 

Overall, the successful candidate will be able to demonstrate a true understanding of developing and building a cohesive multi-disciplined technology team with a culture of continuous improvement, service excellence and a customer centric approach.
