As a recently carved out business, we now comprise two production plants in Team Valley, UK, one for mineral fibre tiles and one for grid, as well as sales teams responsible for selling mineral fibre tiles and grid in the UK, Ireland, Spain, Portugal and the Baltic States. This business is well positioned in these markets and highly profitable and will also benefit from significant investment in the coming 3-5 years in order to expand the production capability of both manufacturing sites.

The Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for Finance Analyst to join their team.

Reporting to the Senior Finance Analyst, duties will include:

  • Carry out monthly routine analysis and reporting of financial performance
  • Support commercial organisation in production of forecasts and budgets by providing templates, consolidating templates and providing guidance.
  • Produce reports for others to run to analyse performance of the business.
  • Develop financial reporting so as to improve analysis and understanding of results to drive better commercial performance.
  • Participation in Monthly Sales Review process and forecast
  • Participation in Annual Sales Budget process
  • Ownership of commercial reporting model providing profitability by product, market, customer etc
  • Participate in the evaluation of business investments and creation of financial analysis and models to support commercial decision making
  • Participate in the development of tools and training to drive sales growth 
  • Participate in process improvements to deliver productivity and business efficiency
  • Ad-hoc support to European MD, European FD, Regional Sales Directors, Marketing Director

The Person

To be considered for this opportunity you will have:

  • Experience in a finance role
  • Have strong Excel skills (v lookups, pivot tables etc)
  • Strong analytical skills and experience in handling data sets
  • Ideally part qualified or working towards your professional qualification
  • You must be a driven and motivated individual who is eager to learn
