I am delighted to be partnering with a fast growing organisation in Newcastle to assist them in their search for a Employee Relations Advisor.
Reporting into the Employee Relations Manager you will be working alongside managers to proactively manage employee relations within the organisation. You will be a subject matter expert within the Newcastle office and will have a focus on absence and performance management as well as complaints. You will be responsible for taking a proactive approach in creating a positive employee relations culture and encouraging healthy working relationships.
You will also be responsible for helping to establish the function, establishing processes and training managers on the correct way to handle employee relations issues. This will include producing training materials and engaging directly with line managers. Additionally you will be responsible for ensuring all Health and Safety policies are adhered to and ensuring that the company is meeting all of its statutory obligations.
As this is a newly created role within the organisation there is a good route to progress quickly.
In order to be considered for this role you will have a degree in Human Resources, Law, or a similar subject. You will also be CIPD Level 3 qualified and have 3 to 5 years experience in a similar position. You will have excellent communication skills as well as the ability to handle a busy caseload effectively. You should be passionate about employee relations and have the ability to support the organisation as it continues to grow.
