The company

Nigel Wright is recruiting for an EMEA Digital Marketing Manager to join a global, market-leading consumer goods business in the North East. The £mm t/o company have doubled their growth over the last 12 months and this is a new role created to support the development and roll-out of a new international digital strategy. 

Working as part of an established head office team, the role will be responsible for creating a strong multi-platform digital experience to aid customer acquisition and sales growth. This is a great opportunity for an experienced digital specialist to join a collaborative team, with people management responsibility. 

The role can be home-based for 3 days per week with 2 in the North East head office, with international travel when permitted. 

The role

  • Overseeing digital marketing programs including SEM/SEO, Paid Social, Affiliate Marketing, Email Marketing, and Programatically-driven targeted campaigns, with agencies.
  • Developing and owning reporting on the effectiveness of all digital marketing channels against sales, margin, and acquisition targets.
  • Execute work within a test-and-learn culture that continually tries, measures, and analyses the results of new things.
  • Managing agency relationships, digital budget and a content coordinator.
  • Ensuring the digital marketing team is effectively integrated and collaborating with cross-functional partners, supporting company-wide objectives. 
  • Act as the thought leader on digital within the wider global business, ensuring high standards in digital output across the global business. 

Person specification

  • Strong experience within all aspects of digital marketing, ideally in consumer goods.
  • Analytically minded but confident communicator, to work with a diverse group of internal stakeholders.
  • Proactive and ideas orientated to set agenda of your own role. 
  • Desire to own and grow a function/role, commitment to short and long term agenda.
  • Able to comfortably work across multiple projects simultaneously.
