Nigel Wright is excited to be working with the producers of a multi award-winning event, listed as one of the Top 5 in the UK to attend. It is currently the UK's biggest live production with expansion plans set for 2021. 
Based in the North East in onsite offices.

The Role

Our client is looking for an experienced and talented Marketing Manager to strengthen the Marketing team as the show moves into its sixth season of Summer performances as they embark on their next exciting chapter.

You will have an abundance of great ideas for engaging audiences, creating great content for social media, print, outdoor, radio or television. Reporting to the Head of Sales & Marketing, you will work at a multi-functional and operational level to deliver all aspects of the marketing strategy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work with Marketing Director and Head of Sales & Marketing to develop an annual B2B and B2C marketing, PR and sales strategies in line with strategic vision
  • Plan, manage and coordinate all opportunities for increasing event reach and driving ticket sales
  • Manage and keep up-to-date the website ensuring SEO is optimised and using content management systems to analyse website traffic and user engagement metrics to further refine the platform.
  • Manage and develop exciting content for all social media channels to deliver targeted, effective engagement to expand reach, increase inbound traffic and drive ticket sales
  • Work with the PR agency to engage national and regional media, creating and developing stories and angles with key media, ensuring the team delivers on objectives.
  • Work to deliver on brand assets across all channels

Candidate Requirements

Due to the scope of the role, a certain amount of out of hours work will be necessary to attend networking events in the community as well as well as supporting the main events and weekend performances during the summer.

You will ideally have exposure to managing events or working within the industry, ideally within the visitor attraction market.

Have the ability to commute to Bishop Auckland 5 days a week.
