The Opportunity

Nigel Wright are delighted to be partnering with the world leading producer of outdoor power products including chainsaws, trimmers, robotic lawn mowers and garden tractors - Husqvarna. 

As the business continues to expand their Automower division in the UK, Husqvarna are looking to add an energetic, passionate Key Account Manager to be the point of contact and drive new business in the South. The successful candidate will report directly to the UK Pro Sales Manager. The Key Account Manager Automower Pro will implement sales policy defined by UK Pro Sales Management to fulfill fixed objectives, with the mindset to develop Automower Pro sales and customer loyalty in the Great-London region.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement Go to market sales and marketing strategies within a defined area and customer segments
  • Develop and manage autonomously a regional Key account Pro Automower® portfolio
  • Manage and grow existing direct Pro Key accounts
  • Negotiate product listing, make recommendation, and implement action plans with targeted Pro Automower® customers
  • Establish a sustainable relationship with Pro Automower® customers, answer for tender and negotiate lasting contract
  • Gather market and competitor intelligence and analysis
  • Identify and facilitate marketing opportunities (in conjunction with Pro Sales Manager & Marketing)
  • Part of the UK Pro sales team and a strong collaboration with dealer sales team
  • Support efficient coordination with the various departments of the company to achieve the objectives set:
    • Marketing (product approach, markets, management of calls for tenders, pricing)
    • Sales administration
    • Logistic
    • After sales

The Candidate

  • A good educational background with relevant degree education or equivalent
  • Turf maintenance knowledge would be advantageous
  • Team player but also able to work independently with a strong “self starter” attitude
  • Commercially astute, numerate and with an appreciation for pricing, costs and profitability
  • B2B sales experience would be advantageous
  • Strong interpersonal skills and relationship building are essential qualities
  • Ability to communicate, present and influence at all levels
  • Must be highly experienced in: Microsoft packages, Outlook, Word, Excel, Powerpoint and CRM solutions
  • Full UK driving licence. A towing (B&E) category would be advantageous
  • Enjoy working in a fast paced environment and have a strong commitment to results
  • Posses a high level of tenacity, be self confident with a style that can enliven, engage and positively impacts individuals and groups to succeed
