Nigel Wright is thrilled to be working with this long-standing North East SME, with European reach, where clients are at the heart of what they do. Specialising in providing a platform to sell unique and valuable items from fine art to comic books. 

The Role

This role would be a fantastic opportunity for a candidate interested in art and design, who can bring their digital specialism to help drive this brand forward within the digital space. The company has seen strong online performance in the last year and is looking for a strategically minded candidate to grow and develop the brand online.
You will be adept in SEO, and the optimisation around this, in order to drive rankings, whilst feeding back into social media and the website. This is an exciting opportunity for someone to make a difference, and be part of an established brand who are looking to increase their presence and engagement via online channels. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Development and execution of an online marketing strategy across web, email, SEO and social media
  • To manage the content of the companies website, ensuring successful SEO on key search terms, monitoring all performance data and feeding back to directors
  • To ensure that forthcoming sales are actively promoted on all digital channels, including the regular transmission of e-alerts to subscribers, the writing of blogs and the creation of interesting content online & on social media platforms, with the aim of raising the number of digital users actively interacting with posts.
  • Managing and responding to social media in line with increased activity during key sale moments
  • Liaising with press and media, but digital experience is more relevant
  • Working collaboratively with the wider business to help influence sale content and messaging

Candidate Requirements

  • You will have proven B2C digital marketing experience, with a strategic mindset
  • You will need to demonstrate strong hands on SEO experience
  • Ideally be interested in art and design or have experience working within premium retail
  • Have excellent stakeholder skills and feel confident presenting your ideas to director level
  • Be confident in working autonomously and able to develop a digital marketing plan from scratch
