The Role

As part of a company wide project to standardise and improve both process and working practices the work stream lead for Food and Drink will focus on transforming the way the business focuses on and processes, finding appropriate technical solutions. This is a multi-faceted role, working closely with 5 other Workstream Leads, Specialist internal leads and external system suppliers.
The role is a fixed term contract for 12 months and will naturally evolve and develop as the project progresses through the various stages, from initial operating model design right through to implementation. At this stage the transformation mentality is well embedded in the organisation but strong stakeholder management and push through is required.

  • Team focused – understanding dependencies of 7 workstream leads and supporting each other

  • Confidence to challenge stakeholders in order to secure the right outcome for the business
  • Strong attention to detail, able to understand and navigate data with confidence.

The Person

This varied role would suit someone with a project management or business transformation background who can confidently lead internal and external stakeholder engagement and management. Experience of food retail and hospitality is desirable.

You likely have a background in category management, commercial marketing and have certainly worked within a business in transformation.  


The role is a fixed term contract beginning immediately to cover maternity leave for 12 months.  We expect that it will naturally evolve and develop as the programme progresses through the various stages, from initial operating model design right through to implementation. The role will suit confident, open-minded and resourceful candidates who possess the high degree of flexibility, creativity and tenacity needed to work effectively through a challenging transformative change.
