In October 2016, Nestlé and R&R successfully launched a new, joint-venture brand in the ice-cream, frozen food and chilled dairy sector; Froneri. Froneri combines Nestlé and R&R’s ice-cream activities in Europe, the Middle East (excluding Israel), Argentina, Australia, Brazil, the Philippines and South Africa. It also incorporates Nestlé’s European frozen food business (excluding pizza and retail frozen food in Italy), as well as its chilled dairy business in the Philippines. Froneri is the second-largest manufacturer of ice cream in Europe and the third-largest worldwide.

Applications for this role are welcomed from candidates with sound retail/grocery multiples marketing experience, who are able to commute to Leeming Bar as and when required (upon government advice permitting). This is a maternity cover contract within a busy business unit and expanding organisation. 

The role

To co-ordinate and deliver Shopper and Out of Home (OOH) Marketing activity plans to establish Froneri as the experts Retail and OOH channels, through strong and impactful activity, driving Froneri market position and developing and maintaining strong customer relationships.

  • Build relationships with internal stakeholders and external customers
  • Co-ordination and implementation of annual Shopper Marketing activity plan, working with Brand Managers and National Account Managers to ensure Froneri Brand activity is tailored to specific customers and adheres to Brand strategy and guidelines.
  • Co-ordination of all OOH point of sale, working from conception through to delivery in accordance with Global and Local brand strategy and guidelines
  • Responsible for developing and delivering annual OOH Sales Brochures, Sales Aids, Trade Ads and ad hoc marketing materials as required.
  • Attend sales meetings to report all Shopper & OOH marketing activities & updates
  • Evaluation of competitor POS and Shopper activity
  • Co-ordination of annual Brand Plan presentations for Retail and Wholesale channels
