The Opportunity

We are seeking a self-motivated, driven and objective technology leader to join their senior leadership team as IT Director.

Reporting into the CEO, this is an exciting opportunity to join and lead a directorate in a role that is central to driving innovation, quality services and value within the business.

Role overview
You will need to have a passion for delivering exceptional customer service and have great work ethics and inter-personal skills. You will be required to lead by example, be hands on, decisive and approachable as well as being able to delegate where needed. 

You will be an active member of the Senior Leadership Team and will advise the Board on IT
strategy and performance so excellent communication skills are required as well as being friendly and professional to all staff, customers and suppliers.

  • Working alongside the Senior Leadership team, design and deliver the IT Strategy for all technology operations (including infrastructure, software applications, security and online.
  • Full responsibility for provision of cost effective infrastructure and software, including setting and managing the technology budget.
  • Leading and responsibility for the long term development of the IT team members.
  • Build and develop trusted relationships with technology service providers.

Candidate Requirements


  • Proven experience as IT director in a high transaction volume business.
  • Experience in analysis, implementation and evaluation of IT systems and their specifications including the design and development of bespoke solutions.
  • In-depth knowledge of SalesForce CRM products (experience with SF Lightening preferred).
  • Solid understanding of infrastructure and software implementation, development and support and emerging cloud technologies.
  • Budget management.
  • Excellent organisational and leadership skills.
  • Outstanding communication abilities.

While previous experience at this level is critical, it is highly likely that the successful candidate will have a relevant degree in computer science, engineering or relevant field and have continue on to study at Masters level.  Project management qualifications are also preferable, especially Lean Six Sigma.
