The Opportunity:

Nigel Wright Recruitment has been retained by a high growth engineering and manufacturing business in North Yorkshire to support with the recruitment of a Product Training Manager to join its marketing function in a newly created position.  The Company are a high growth, high margin, high volume manufacturer with a focus on driving NPD.  This is a pivotal hire as part of the commecial growth plan and provides the right individual with the opportunity to drive the strategic agenda with regard to internal and external product training.

Role Profile:

  • Review internal and external product training requirements.
  • Lead on the product training strategy creation and product training delivery.
  • Devlop an accreditation scheme.
  • Develop e-learning modules.
  • Develop and manage a global user community and produce consistent online content and material to drive comms within this network.
  • Utilise internal technical functions to drive the creation of high quality training content and communciations.
  • Utilise sales team and customer feedback to constantly improve training content.
  • Support the sales team with online training delivery.
  • Delivery of white papers at key conferences.
  • Segmentation and targeting of customer groups with relevant messaging.
  • Organising and delvering technical seminars to key groups.
  • Working with marketing to bring content to online platforms. 

Person Specification:

  • Experience of creating compelling product training content.
  • Evidence of using online training tools.
  • Strong networking skills.
  • A charasmatic and engaging training and presentation delivery style.
  • Experience within a B2B industral product environment.
  • Strong IT skills (PowerPoint, Excel etc)
