The company

Nigel Wright is recruiting for a Multi-Channel Marketing Manager to join a global consumer goods business. The company is a well-known household name and leader within their category. They are now seeking an experienced FMCG/ consumer goods marketer to join their team. 

This role has an international remit and will support internal stakeholders in category, product and sales, working to develop market share and brand awareness in emerging and already established territories. Covering sales in bricks and mortar retail and eCommerce, this position offers a varied day to day role in a growing business unit.

Remote working available however candidates should be available to work from the office in the North 1 or 2 days a week, on an ad-hoc/when required basis. 

The role

  • Responsible for the planning process which includes developing, implementing, and managing multi-category / multi-channel trade strategies and programmes across markets
  • Proactively uncover insights from market, sales and retailer data to deliver actionable insights across the wider sales and marketing teams 
  • Responsible for setting key goals for strong 4P execution across multi-channel retailers
  • Delivering customer and retailers insights to support the growth of the eCommerce channel
  • Work with product and NPD teams to create effective product feasibility plans for your markets, creating an activation plan to support the launch in retail and eCommerce

  • Proven experience of delivering and implementing 4P strategies/execution plans that have delivered incremental category growth
  • Knowledge and experience of category management and analysis of shopper insights
