GBB is busy creating the UK’s first bank dedicated to increasing the supply of development finance to underserved UK regions, starting in the North of England. GBB provides bespoke development finance to SME property developers and offer savings rates for the UK public. Approximately half of the government’s housebuilding target is currently being met and GBB intend on bridging that gap by supporting local businesses in the development sector.
Alongside availability of land and planning permission, access to finance is a key barrier for some smaller businesses. GBB is determined to be a powerful force in reversing these trends and making a tangible impact in Property Development in the UK.
GBB are strengthening their finance team with the appointment of a Reporting Manager to work closely with the Head of Finance on developing processes, controls, systems and reporting. This hire will play a key role in ensuring the business has the appropriate regulatory reporting requirements in place, insightful MI, as well as the infrastructure to support future business growth.

The appropriate candidate is expected to be a Qualified Accountant (ACCA/ACA/CIMA) or equivalent, with a Financial Services background and prior experience of financial and prudential regulatory reporting.
