Nigel Wright Recruitment has been appointed as the retained partner to a key client in the the engineering sector to recruit a Global Divisional Sales Director. The role will have responsibility for a globally based team operating in a fast, paced high volume, high margin, high growth environment with continuous innovation and regular new product introductions.
You will be responsible for leading the global sales team and driving year on year growth across both direct to OEM and distribution channels. You will also lead the North Yorkshire based internal sales function and engage regularly with the product management and engineering functions.
The position will involve regular worldwide travel and customer interaction. In addition to the people leadership and development responsibility, the role will hold key account management responsibility for top line relationships with global strategic accounts.
When in the UK there will be a requirement to be based predominantly at the North Yorkshire HQ, so for non-commutable applicants there would be a requirement for a full relocation.
