Oasis Community Housing (OCH) is a Christian response to homelessness and disadvantage providing housing, support and other specialised services.
OCH is part of the Oasis Charitable Trust (OCT) group of charities. The group includes national charities dedicated to education, housing, and community development and we work to a common vision of creating communities in which everyone can thrive and reach their God-given potential.
OCH are looking to appoint an Interim Director of Finance & Resources for approximately 9-12 months to cover maternity leave. The Director of Finance & Resources is a member of the Executive Team of the charity and will lead the strategic development of the finance and resources function in OCH to deliver high quality internal support services to the rest of the organisation.
The Director of Finance and Resources will provide a lead in the financial management of the charity, working alongside the Chief Executive and board.
This includes developing financial strategy and budget planning. The Director leads the Finance Team to ensure timely, accurate and informative delivery of external and internal financial and management reports, including annual statutory reporting and Management Accounts, to staff, the Executive and the Board of Trustees.
The Director also leads or oversees the development, management and improvement of IT, HR and Administrative functions, including data protection, training/staff development and procurement.
Hours: 37 hours per week, although 4 days would be considered
