As they continue to grow, Alpro are looking for a hands on, strategic International Impulse Lead to develop the modern convenience channel of their European business - this is a far reaching role with the opportunity to be part of a dynamic company who are rapidly expanding across the globe.

Role Summary

As Int. Impulse Channel Development Lead in the Customer Development Excellence Team, you will provide guidance on how to approach Impulse channels and how to translate this into real business opportunities. You will be part of a team of true experts and report to the CD Excellence Director. Main markets are UK & Ireland, DACH, Belgium and The Netherlands.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development of the channel strategy and road-map; providing a single point of coordination and executive oversight for all channel initiatives ('Growth Hacks') and transformation projects in order to ensure its integration with the organisation's strategic planning process, and the resulting business strategy and plans.
  • Provide guidance on how to calculate the opportunity by Impulse channel (Modern Convenience, Independent Proximity, Specialised), provide guidance on the 4p's by channel and share best practices across countries.
  • Co-ordinate cross-functional teams in different markets, in order to support developing e-commerce and Omni-channel strategies.
  • Act as an expert on emerging business models, prioritising opportunities based on potential impact and strategic considerations; you explore and to test new channels.
  • Collaborate closely with customers and agencies, in order to contribute to achieving the company's e-commerce business objectives.
  • Collaborate with local commercial teams, divisional marketing teams, Danone Global teams
  • One report - You’re the direct line manager of the Int. Channel & E-commerce Expert, acting as a true people leader and coach.

Specific Requirements

  • Master's degree educated
  • 5 to 7 years : Relevant experience in sales if which partially in new channels. Strong preference for the
  • Food industry.
