The Role
The Senior Chain Lead is responsible for ensuring efficient working methods and procedures within the planning team.
Key responsibilities include:
- Assessing team performance,
- Adjusting processes,
- Coaching and guiding team members,
- Managing key issues
- Preparing KPI reports.
- Collaborating with other departments,
- Optimising production capacity,
- Monitoring product availability,
- Participating in cross-functional projects
The Person
We are looking for candidates who display the following skills and attributes:
- Strong professional experience in planning - preferably in Food /Drink Industry
- Previous managing people experience preferred
- Business Degree / or CIPS / Part Qualified
- SAP Experience preferred , or experience in capacity planning on in ERP systems
- Strong Communication skills
- Excellent analytical skills required
- This role will report to the Supply Chain Manager and will have some direct reports.
- This individual will be required to work closely with Production and other functions to ensure the KPI's are met
