The Business

Opportunity Overview

The role will report into the Group CFO, and be part of the wider, Newcastle Group Head Office team.  The key deliverables include - 

  • Assume full responsibility for all core Co-Sec role elements – Corporate Governance / Regulatory Administration / Board Support / Statutory Compliance / Risk Management
  • Drive the organisation and momentum of the key Board Meeting priorities & workstreams.
  • Develop coordination and project management ownership of key strategic workstreams such as Succession Planning / ESG Strategy / Annual Report / Risk Management Framework. 

The person

  • Background Experience – Technically qualified, and likely to have held a senior management / leadership level Co-Sec remit.
  • Strategically aware – Able to horizon scan, identify key risk / opportunity areas that affect the business and advise the Board appropriately. 
  • Strong Relationship Management & Influencing skills – Work hard to build relationship across the Group, earning the right to influence and operating as a trusted confidante where appropriate.
  • Working Style – Balancing the management of multiple proactive workstreams through to completion, alongside responding to the requirements of the Group.
