SQL Developer

The Company
NW Tech are pleased to be working with an established not-for-profit organisation in their search for a SQL Developer. NB - this role will be based 3 days out of my clients offices in Northumberland.
The Role
This role will play an important part in technology projects that are due to kick off over the next six months and you would be joining an existing data team of three people. Key responsibilities include:
- Learn and apply data warehousing best practises and standards
- Support efforts to ensure data integrity, quality and security within the data warehouse
- Help build interfaces between key business systems as needed
- Aid in optimising ETL processes for reliability and efficiency
- Collaborate with the team to ensure data is available and structured effectively for reporting and analytics
The Requirements
Ideally you will have had six months to a year of commercial experience within the following areas:
- Basic understanding of data warehouse management, architecture and maintenance
- Knowledge of SQL databases and SQL programming
- Some experience in data manipulation, data cleansing and transferring data between systems
- Basic experience of analytical reporting tools would also be useful
