Spectrum Brands, a trusted global home essentials company with renowned brands like FURminator® and DreamBone®, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Commercial Senior Director to lead our Global Pet Care (GPC) business in the UK & Ireland.

About the Role:
In this pivotal role, you'll drive the commercial strategy and execution for our Pet Care division in the UK & Ireland, playing a key part in achieving our ambitious 3-year growth plan. You'll lead a team of 9 direct reports, overseeing Sales, Category Management, and Trade Marketing, while managing a significant P&L and fostering strong relationships with key retailers.
Key Responsibilities:
• P&L Management: Drive revenue, contribution, and EBITDA targets for the UK & Ireland GPC legal entity.
• Commercial Strategy: Develop and implement winning commercial plans, identify new business opportunities, and lead annual negotiations with key accounts.
• Team Leadership: Lead and develop a high-performing commercial team, fostering a collaborative and results-oriented environment.
• Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including senior-level customers and EMEA teams.
• Organisational Development: Design and evolve the UK&I organisational structure to support business objectives.
• Strategic Input: Contribute to the annual planning process for the International GPC business unit.
What We're Looking For:
• Extensive and proven leadership experience in managing commercial functions (Sales, Trade Marketing).
• Demonstrated ability to lead and manage large, complex teams.
• Deep understanding of the UK retail landscape, with multi-channel experience.
• Strong P&L management experience and budget creation expertise.
• Proven ability to influence and collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
• Knowledge of the Pet Category is a plus.
