Overview

We’re looking for a Solutions Architect to help shape and deliver a modern, scalable, and secure technology landscape. This is a unique opportunity to work for a tech-for-good organisation that’s making a real difference in communities across the UK.

Enjoy a flexible hybrid working model – 2 days a week in our Newcastle city centre office, with monthly leadership meetings in Newcastle, Sheffield, or London (travel expenses covered).
Flexible salary up to £75,000, depending on experience.

Role

Design and maintain robust, scalable technical architectures aligned with our strategic goals.
Lead on solution design across a variety of platforms and services, ensuring alignment with our technology roadmap.
Engage with stakeholders across the organisation to understand needs and translate them into effective technical solutions.
Support the rollout of new technologies and ensure smooth integration with existing systems.

Working with a tech stack including

Microsoft 365, Dynamics 365, Power Platform (PowerApps, Power Automate)
Azure cloud services

Following a “best of breed” approach – selecting and integrating off-the-shelf solutions to create a seamless, modern business system.

Person

Proven experience in solution architecture, ideally within complex or legacy environments.
Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure, data models, and DevOps methodologies.
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
Relevant certifications (e.g. TOGAF, ITIL) are a plus.
