Nigel Wright are working with a well known food manufacturing business as they look to recruit a Shift Manager to join their organisation. The role

This is an exciting time to join the business as they are looking for someone who can play a key role in coaching and mentoring their team as they embark on a journey of improvement. Key responsibilities are ones that you would expect to see in a Shift Manager role - Health & Safety, ensuring food standards are met and maintained, ensuring availability of labour and raw materials for effective delivery of the daily plan, waste reduction, continuous improvement etc, but in order to really succeed in this role, we are looking for someone who thrives when given autonomy, can make the right decision quickly, and is able to help others see and achieve their full potential.

The person

We are looking for someone who has experience in high risk food manufacturing, with proven experience coaching and developing teams. A positive approach to problem solving, and someone who isn't afraid to make decisions.
