SHEQ Manager (part-time)
Our Client:
A well-established and diversified industrial manufacturer with a strong presence in the naval, marine, and construction sectors. We are delighted to partner with them in their search for a dedicated and experienced individual to join their team as a permanent SHEQ Manager, on a flexible part-time basis.
The opportunity:
Key responsibilities will include:
- Conducting regular site inspections and audits across various locations, requiring some travel within the UK.
- Developing, implementing, and delivering effective and engaging training programs related to SHEQ.
- Leading and facilitating the Safety Committee, promoting a proactive safety culture.
- Acting as a key point of contact, liaising effectively with clients and regulatory authorities to ensure full compliance with all relevant standards and legislation.
- Leading thorough investigations of accidents and incidents, implementing corrective and preventative actions.
- Providing crucial support to the business in successfully achieving and maintaining their ISO14001 environmental management system certification.

- You will possess demonstrable experience in (Q)HSE Lead roles
- Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to positively engage with stakeholders at all levels and contribute to the development of a positive and proactive safety culture
- Strong experience in the implementation and maintenance of management systems, particularly ISO45001
- While not essential, some knowledge and understanding of CDM regulations would be anĀ advantage
