Service Charge Accountant

The business

We are delighted to be partnering with one of UK’s largest property business, located in South Manchester in the recruitment of a Service Charge Accountant
Established with over 40 plus years the business is continuing its growth of commercial and residential properties across the UK.

Role

This role would be a huge appeal for someone wanting to be involved in key financial operations of the business.  You will have strong accounting expertise, a keen eye for financial details and a passion for the property sector.

Duties include:

• Service charge accounting - preparing and reconciling service charge accounts
• Producing and issuing service charge and working Property managers
• Client & Financial Management – maintaining and updating records for commercial clients
• Handling financial correspondence, payment, and queries
• Managing payments and invoice processing

Person

• Previous experience gained within a fast-paced finance function with a solid understanding of financial processes
• Studying towards an accountancy  qualification - AAT, CIMA, ACCA, ACA
• Excellent attention to detail and organisation skills 
• Proficient Excel - pivot tables, VLOOKUP
• Personable and professional
