As the business continues on it's impressive growth journey, they about to move into a brand new, purpose built facility, and the Senior Engineering Manager will play a crucial role in transfer of equipment.
The role
The Senior Engineering Manager will ensure business objectives are achieved in an efficient manner, with a focus on production efficiency, quality and staff safety, Working with the SLT to ensure engineering strategies are implemented, and functioning in a way that supports the business effective. Key responsibilities will include:
- Plan strategies for the development of routine maintenance systems and upgrades to equipment and systems
- Work collaboratively across functions, with multiple stakeholders
- Work with the Engineering & Maintenance Managers to develop engineers, ensuring they are able to deliver on their objectives
- Provide input to strategic technical decisions and solutions
- Build technical documentation and roadmaps
- Manage the budget for the department
- Create a culture where continuous improvement becomes a mindset, enhancing production and driving automation
