The Role – Sales Coordinator
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established business as a Sales Coordinator in an internal, office-based role. This position is ideal for someone with an engineering background looking to develop a career in technical sales. Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the first point of contact for customers, providing expert advice and product recommendations.
- Process and manage sales orders with accuracy and efficiency.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers.
- Support external Sales Engineers by coordinating sales activities.
- Identify and capitalize on upselling and cross-selling opportunities.
- Work closely with the warehouse and logistics teams to ensure timely order fulfilment.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and sales transactions.
- Provide technical support and assistance where required.
The Person
We are looking for the following skills/attributes;
- An interest in engineering, technical sales.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- A proactive and solution-focused mindset.
- Experience in a sales, coordination, or engineering support role is beneficial but not essential.
