Project Manager
Our client
Our client is a complex manufacturing plant undergoing a period of extensive capital investment, and as such is looking to recruit an experienced Project Manager into a newly created role.
The opportunity
As Project Manager, you will have responsibility for the full project lifecycle of multiple projects at any time; from project scope, through detailed design, contractor management to commission, installation and hand over to operations. You will also play a crucial role in the development of effective project management systems to manage risk and budgets.
About you
As an experience Project Manager (or experienced Project Engineer), you will have specialist experience gained in a dedicated capex project role. Within a minimum HNC/HND in engineering, you will have previous experience in from asset scope/specification through the commissioning/installation. With previous experience gained in a variety of capex projects you will be able to support a variety of projects including facilities, infrastructure and assets. With well developed communication skills, you will be able to build relationships with operators to understand existing challenges, challenge contractors in delivery on time to budget but also give confidence to Directors/external stakeholders.
