The Opportunity


Nigel Wright are delighted to be working with an on going partner in 2025 with the recruitment of a Digital Product Manager for there business. Working in the Digital & Data Team you will be working with internal stakeholders to help implement and support innovative digital products for internal colleagues. You will develop and execute product strategies, lead product development, and manage supplier relationships.

You must be based in the Northeast of England as travelling to site 2/3 days a week is essential 

 

Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure roadmaps and backlogs are created, defined and understood across the business and implemented accordingly
  • Implement change across a wide range of products, ensuring work is planned and coordinated across the wider team
  • Gathers data to come up with ideas for new products and features
  • Analyses market and competition data to create products to match and surpass industry standards
  • Manages testing to detect and fix issues to make improvements
  • Be a strong advocate of agile across the wider business
  • Communicate with various stakeholders including designers, engineers, developers and SME’s including both internal and external stakeholders
  • Work as part of an agile development team

Experience

  • Educated to degree level in a related discipline, or with equivalent experience.
  • Holds a relevant qualification in Agile (ideally as a product owner or in product delivery).
  • At least 2 years of experience in a product manager role, preferably with knowledge of Bootstrap and DevOps.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders effectively.
  • Skilled in communicating ideas, evaluating options, and making suitable recommendations.
  • Strong understanding of the product lifecycle, including the ability to execute product vision, strategy, and roadmaps.
  • Capable of managing a varied and demanding portfolio, ensuring strategic initiatives are prioritised.
