The Company

I am seeking a Platform and Infrastructure Specialist (Retail Connectivity) to deliver an outstanding service to my clients shops within their retail products. The role involves transforming connectivity into a high-performance, flexible, and automated product offering to their retail colleagues. This is a full-time position based in Newcastle upon Tyne with flexible work-life balance in line with role needs. This role is on a 12 month fixed term contract.

Essential for the role

Are passionate about using technology to best achieve business objectives and improve services, and be able to advocate for IaC and CI/CD approaches to drive this forward
Have experience of managing large scale WAN networks across a large number of locations.
Can demonstrate extensive experience of networking technologies and approaches, including firewalls, VPN, WAN technologies, and VLSM

Desirable for the role

Experience of working in a large retail environment
Experience of IaC technologies, such as Ansible and Terraform
Experience working with Meraki networking equipment, in particular Meraki MX Gateways
Experience of working in an Agile environment
