Operational Systems Analyst

The Company
NW Tech are delighted to be working exclusively with an industrial company in their search for a Operational Systems Analyst. You will help ensure the smooth functioning, support, maintenance and continual improvement of their operational systems and software applications.
NB - this role will be based on a hybrid working pattern. The offices are located in the North East and access to your own vehicle is necessary as you will be expected to travel to various on-site locations.
The Role
Key responsibilities:
- Support of enterprise-level operational systems and applications to ensure that systems are running efficiently, with regular updates and enhancements to maintain system reliability
- Collaborate with various departments to integrate applications into business workflows
- Work closely with 3rd parties and various users/stakeholders
- Develop system integrations, including APIs and EDIs to improve accuracy and timeliness of information
- Manage the relationship with system providers, understand their systems roadmap, identifying business benefits and opportunities of adopting new functionality
- Be available to work on IT helpdesk outside of usual 'business hours', both planned and unplanned (on-call)
The Requirements
Key requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years experience in managing and maintaining operational systems and applications in a business or enterprise environment
- Demonstrated experience in database management using technologies such as SQL Server
- Prior experience collaborating with internal stakeholders and third-party vendors to optimise system performance
- Able to manage multiple projects, prioritising tasks to achieve agreed deadlines
