Management Accountant - Hybrid Working - Flexible Hours - City centre location
A rapidly growing and innovative SME is seeking a Management Accountant to join their team. This Management Accountant role is a newly created role and will report directly in the FC. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a dynamic organisation with offers progression as the business evolves.
The Role
The Management Accountant duties will include:
- Lead management accounts and month end close process.
- Finance business partner to Management Team and Budget holders.
- Support with investor and board reporting requirements.
- Assist the Financial Controller with the financial management the business.
- Help ensure everyday finance procedures run smoothly.
- Support annual external audit.
- Other ad hoc tasks as required.
The Person
The requirements for the Management Accountant role are:
- Experience in a similar role within finance.
- Potentially suitable for someone who is part or recently qualified, ACCA CIMA or ICAEW, or alternatively a similar QBE equivalent.
- Team and action oriented; proactive in prioritising own workload and assigned areas of responsibility to others
- Excellent time management and understanding of a monthly reporting cycle.
- Strong communicator that thrives in a dynamic team.
