The opportunity
12 month Interim Financial Controller required for a large group needing support over year end and to manage the audit relationship.
The role
- Manage group year end audit process, group reporting and statutory accounts.
- Ensure compliance with financial reporting standards.
- Oversee tax compliance.
- Lead on the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
- Manage a small team.
- Spot opportunities for process improvement, efficiencies and best practice.
The person
- Qualified Accountant.
- Experience working within in a large group and in a technical role.
- Experience of IFRS and group consolidations.
- Resilient and able to work in a changing environment.
- Positive and outgoing attitude.
