About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to oversee the day-to-day operations of our physical and virtual infrastructure across various global sites. This role requires both technical expertise and strong interpersonal skills, as you will collaborate with local and international teams and engage with external suppliers.
 

Role Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and support AWS, Azure, O365, and VMware ESXi infrastructure.
  • Oversee the operation of servers, services, and backup solutions, ensuring optimal performance.
  • Support firewall services and VOIP solutions.
  • Conduct estate and infrastructure management, including OS and patch management.
  • Collaborate with external suppliers and vendors for support requests and feature implementations.
  • Interact with local and international development and project management teams.
Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in Cisco and Meraki technologies.
  • Experience in managing both domestic and international infrastructure operations, including occasional travel.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills to diagnose and resolve complex system issues and performance bottlenecks.

Soft Skills:

  • Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot and develop effective solutions under pressure.
  • Communication Skills: Clear communication of technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Adaptability and Flexibility: Openness to learning and adapting to new technologies and methodologies.
  • Attention to Detail: Meticulous in configuration, coding, and network setup to prevent significant issues.
  • Teamwork and Collaboration: Ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams.
