About the Role
For my client I am seeking an IT Infrastructure Analyst to join their Information Services team on a permanent basis and contribute to the development and maintenance of their IT systems. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background and be proficient in a variety of IT tools and methodologies.
Skill Set
- Excellent IT skills including exposure to end user services products and technologies
- Intermediate understanding of networking and security services and datacentre technologies
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong diagnostic skills and a working knowledge of current technologies
- Excellent communication skills; ability to articulate technical and business concepts, ideas, opinions and conclusions
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field or equivalent work experience.
- Professional certifications like MCSA/MCSE, VCP, or CCNA/CCNP would be desirable but not essential
Essential Skills
- VMware / Veem
- Firewall experience
- Cisco network experience
- Mix of server experience (2003 – 2022)
- 1st, 2nd and 3rd line activities as per business requirements
