The company

Nigel Wright are pleased to be working with a complex manufacturing business as they look to recruit a Head of Quality. The site is embarking on a large transformation project, and the new Head of Quality will play a key role in leading this for the Quality function. 

The role & candidate

The new Head of Quality will be integral to ensuring food safety and product quality across the site, whilst driving a culture of Quality which everyone is engaged with. A natural ability to coach and influence will ensure the Quality function is well represented in the SLT. With a mindset of continuous improvement, and a desire to collaborate cross functionally, this is an excellent opportunity to strategically drive the quality agenda across this site, and others. 

We are looking for someone who has the following experience:

  • Proven experience managing a quality function on a complex manufacturing site in food/drink manufacturing
  • Proven experience driving transformational change, influencing across multiple functions whilst working as part of the SLT
  • Technical background - micro-biology, chemistry or chemical engineering
