We’re working with an innovative and forward-thinking tech company based in Manchester City Centre. Backed by private equity and on a steep growth trajectory, the business has a dynamic, modern culture and a clear vision for the future. The finance team is lean, collaborative, and highly engaged with the wider business – this is not a back-office role.

The Opportunity

As Group Accountant, you’ll take on a varied and hands-on role, working closely with the Financial Controller and wider business teams. You’ll play a key part in delivering accurate financial information, improving processes, and acting as a true business partner across departments.

Key Responsibilities

Preparation of group consolidated accounts and management reporting
Supporting budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis
Partnering with department heads to provide financial insight and support decision-making
Contributing to the development of internal controls and process improvements
Liaising with auditors and supporting year-end processes
Ad hoc project work related to growth, acquisitions and system improvements

What We’re Looking For

Newly qualified ACA / ACCA (or equivalent)
Audit experience from a smaller or mid-tier firm, ideally with hands-on exposure to SME clients
Strong technical skills, with a proactive and commercially-minded approach
Excellent communication skills and an interest in working closely with non-finance stakeholders
Ambition to grow with a business going through change and expansion
